Trade Practice
Daniel Wallwork, Jack Rodgers & Matthew Rees
18 — 20 Sep, 2026
Examining the divergent creative lineage of labour.
Trade Practice investigates artistic expression foregrounded by a shared history of blue-collar labour. Drawing from signwriting, automotive spray painting and commercial trades, Daniel Wallwork, Jack Rodgers and Matthew Rees integrate techniques and embedded experience within their processes.
Their work manifests in unsettling, metallic-sheened creatures, abstracted historic imagery and objects reproduced through industrial processes. Held in conversation, these products of labour question where the label of 'artist' can be applied, as well as what may be considered a formal art practice.
Curated by Jamie Grohman.
